Artist's Description
As the sunrise announces a new day, it is time for the farmer and his dog to get the tractor rolling towards the fields anticipating all the things they will accomplish that day. My aim was to paint a quintessential farm in the eastern, USA, including, a horse riding ring, bridge constructed from stones out of the stream below, and a tobacco barn on the left, like the barns dotting the country near my childhood home in North Carolina. The spring weather is perfect for the cows to enjoy grazing the pasture at first light.
